OUR PROJECTS

Inglewood Phase I

Location: Inglewood, CA

Inglewood Phase I is the adaptive reuse of a former school building into 60 units of affordable housing. The project is in partnership with Inglewood First United Methodist Church, one of the oldest African-American churches in the city of Inglewood. The goal of the project is to provide high quality affordable housing not only to residents within the community but also congregants of the church. The project site is located less than a mile from SoFi Stadium, host of Superbowl LVI in 2022. Like many areas in the city of Los Angeles, Inglewood is seeing a rapid re-development and gentrification of historically black communities, and this project will serve to preserve affordability to families who have called this area home for generations.
